Wednesday happened to be a pretty enjoyable day, considering it was a school day. My friend and I decided to get some breakfast before school starts, and after thinking of places we decided on Jack’s bagels, as it’s close to school and good. My friend picked me up at around 8:00am and we drove over. I ordered a Jack’s bagel (which has cream cheese, eggs, lettuce, onions, cheese, and some other things I’m probably forgetting) on a sesame bagel. It was delicious like always, a good bagel and a coffee in the morning are never a bad thing. We finished and drove to school, were we would be miserably spending our next four or so hours.
When school got out I went home to try to do some homework, but then my friend called to see if I would join him for some surfing. I said of course! Without even hesitating. I needed a break and haven’t surfed in a while, so it worked out well. He picked me up again and we drove over to the Coral Casino. After some trouble finding parking we suited up and jumped in. It was pretty foggy, and the water wasn’t too cold. The water quality was also superb, not quite like it was during summer, but you could still see the bottom. The waves were pretty small, around waist high, but fun. After about an hour, the fog cleared up and the sun came in. Overall we surfed for about 2 hours, and then we went into the coral. We did some dives on the diving board, attempting a double front flip. We almost succeeded but it was more of just landing on our faces. Then we went in the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. Lastly we took a good warm shower and left.
We drove over to Pierre Lafond’s to do some homework and drink some more coffee. I also ordered cookies, because they have really good cookies. Overall it was a pretty fun day, and I caught some fun waves. I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted on my next pre school/ surfing adventure.
